What are Sound Mental events about?

Our events focus on mental wellness, community connection, physical activity, and personal growth. Activities include hikes, workshops, group sessions, and awareness programs designed to improve mental well-being.

Who can attend these events?

Anyone can attend. Our events are open to individuals of all ages (depending on the activity), backgrounds, and fitness levels. We prioritize inclusivity and safe participation.

Do I need to be physically fit to join activities like hikes?

No advanced fitness level is required. Each event includes guidance and pacing suitable for beginners, with support from facilitators throughout the activity.

How do I register for an event?

You can register directly on the event page by filling in your details and submitting the form. Some events may require payment via M-Pesa to confirm your spot.

How do M-Pesa payments work?

After registration, you will receive an STK push prompt on your phone. Once payment is completed, you receive an instant receipt and confirmation of your booking.

Is my payment safe and secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through secure M-Pesa APIs with encrypted transactions. We do not store sensitive payment details on our servers.

What happens after I register?

You will receive a confirmation email or SMS with event details, instructions, and reminders before the event date.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the specific event policy. Some events allow refunds within a defined period before the event starts.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. In most cases, tickets can be transferred if you notify the support team before the event begins.

What should I bring to an event?

Bring comfortable clothing, water, weather-appropriate gear, and any personal medication if needed. Specific requirements are listed on each event page.

Are the events safe?

Yes. All activities are supervised by trained facilitators. Safety briefings are provided before every event, and emergency protocols are in place.

Will I receive a certificate after attending?

Certificates are issued for selected workshops and structured programs. They can be downloaded from your profile after completion.

Do I get reminders before the event?

Yes. Automated reminders are sent via email or SMS 7 days, 24 hours, and 2 hours before the event.

What if I arrive late to an event?

Late arrivals may still join, but some activities may already be in progress. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early.

Can I bring food or drinks?

For most outdoor events, participants may bring light snacks and water. Full details are provided in each event description.
